Amie was born with cerebral
palsy 20 years ago .
It is only a year ago that I met Amie, we moved to a different town and our neighbors
across the road (now our best friends) Jim and Judy Lee were very kind to us and welcomed us to the town and the
neighborhood...I got introduced to Amie she was in a wheelchair couldn't walk or talk .. but understood everything you said to her .. She could answer you with her eyes, up was yes sideways was no, it took awhile before I got the hang of that, but I did.. for some reason I still don't know why.. Amie liked me, this crazy Dutch woman *S*.. And you have heard about people growing on you well with Amie that was different it was an instant love for this girl you couldn't help yourself that is the person she was ..Big smiles always happy .. lots of times up to no good
..LOL.. and anything that could go wrong like if you tripped or bumped yourself well you made her day, she wouldn't stop laughing.
As you can tell most of the color is purple it was her favorite color , purple wheelchair, slippers, shirts, pants, stuffed animals even purple nail
polish and watch. *S* Amie in a lot of ways was a very lucky girl two wonderful parents that did everything for her took her to
Florida three times and to Universal Studio's, Disney world , Cedar Point (big amusement park) etc.. Amie and I did have a very special bond
even though it was for such a short time .. but she taught me some very important
things, Unconditional Love , Courage, Strength and to be happy with every day you get. This is the reason for me making this page in her memory. Amie Thank You for all your love you have given me ..
Your up in heaven now with the angels where you belong because to me You were an angel and I thank God for the time he gave me to get to know you. You will always be in my heart until we meet again ..
Love you forever sweetie .. Ria xxxxxxxxoooooooo
